Knowing goofs

• CONT: In the opening classroom sequence, the clock on the wall behind the teacher remains at 1:10 throughout the majority of the scene, despite the obvious passage of time. The next time the clock is seen the hands have jumped to 3:00.
• CHAR: It is mentioned they need to alert “N O Double A” to some information. Presumably, this is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. This would normally be pronounced like “Noah”.
• CONT: When John and Diana argue and she drives off for the caves, John’s Pickup has the tailgate down after Diana and the Kids take their kit from the back. When John arrives at Diana’s car crash the tailgate is missing.
• FAKE: When John is at the New York Subway station, we see a painted plywood sign showing subway lines. This sign was set up because this scene was filmed in Melbourne, Australia.
• FAKE: Right after the subway crash sequence, the camera moves up into a wide shot. You can clearly see that the fire engine is shaking because the tracking of the digital truck does not fit perfectly.
