My Cousin Vinny goofs

• CONT: When Vinny’s car is first shown going through town, it says, “Cadillac” on the grill. When the car pulls into the parking space to examine the tires, it doesn’t say “Cadillac” on the grill.
• CONT: After Vinny’s successful court appearance the D.A. calls to congratulate him, and to inform him of new evidence. The tie Vinny is wearing is different than the one he wore to court.
• CHAR: When George Wilbur is testifying, he claims to have performed chemical analyses on the rubber from the tires and tire marks with a Hewlett Packard gas chromatograph with a “flame analyzation detector”. The correct technical term is a “flame ionization detector”.
• FAKE: When Vinny is looking at the pictures of the tire tracks supposedly made by spinning tires you can clearly see the tread pattern. If the tires had been spinning the tracks would have been smeared. The tracks shown with clear tread pattern would only have been made if the car had driven through water or paint.
• CONT: Sweat on forehead of Public Prosecutor on first day of trial.
